Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and filing patent applications and associated documentation with the UKIPO, EPO and WIPO
- Managing deadlines and ensuring all filings are completed accurately and on time
- Liaising with clients, attorneys, and international agents to provide updates and coordinate actions
- Supporting attorneys with administrative tasks, including correspondence and billing
- Maintaining and updating records using the firm’s case management systems
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a patent paralegal or patent support role within an IP firm or legal environment
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Familiarity with patent filing systems and procedures (eg UKIPO, EPO, WIPO)
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
